CITY GROWERS

City Growers connects urban communities with agriculture, food and environment through farm education and advocacy in order to foster a culture of health and sustainability. City Growers offers educational experiences for schools, youth groups and summer camps looking to deepen students' understanding about agriculture, food and the urban environment.



FOOD BANK FOR WESTCHESTER

The Food Bank for Westchester operates a Food Growing Program encompassing approximately 2.5 acres on five sites throughout the county. They cultivate unused land for growing fresh produce and train youth and adult populations on how to grow food. The harvested produce is donated and distributed to local hunger-relief agencies.

HUDSON VALLEY CRAFT BEER WEEK

Hudson Valley Craft Beer Week is a collaborative venture to promote the thriving local craft beer culture in the Hudson Valley. The goal is to put together a collection of events that celebrate the diversity and quality of craft beer in the area. 


 

HUDSON VALLEY YOUNG FARMERS COALITION

The Hudson Valley Young Farmers Coalition was founded in 2012 to address the challenges faced when launching careers in agriculture including access to land, credit and capital. The coalition is a social and business network that encourages cooperation and communication among farmers.
